To contribute to the development and optimization of advanced carbon black and other reinforcement fillers for rubber applications. The role involves innovation in material development, compound formulation, testing, and sustainability initiatives in alignment with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop novel
carbon black and filler materials
for rubber applications (tyre, non-tyre, and specialty rubber goods).
Design, test, and analyze
rubber compounds and reinforcement materials
for performance improvement.
Conduct
reverse engineering
to enhance compound properties and process efficiency.
Stay updated with
latest trends in rubber and polymer technology
, sustainability, and product stewardship.
Identify new opportunities for
product innovation and modification
aligned with sustainability and regulatory compliance.
Lead
troubleshooting studies
related to process optimization and customer complaints.
Collaborate with
Process Technology, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Quality
teams for seamless project execution.
Ensure effective
laboratory management
, including equipment maintenance and chemical inventory.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
BE/B.Tech/M.Sc. in
Rubber/Polymer Science & Technology
M.Tech (Mandatory)
in
Rubber Technology
or
Chemical Engineering
Experience:
Minimum
3-6 years
of relevant R&D experience in
Rubber or Polymer Industry
Functional Skills:
Strong understanding of
carbon black technology
, advanced fillers, and rubber compounding.
Excellent
analytical, problem-solving, and experimental design
skills.
Proficient in
testing, characterization, and analysis
of rubber compounds and fillers.
Strong
communication, documentation, and presentation
skills.
Familiarity with
sustainability and regulatory requirements
in rubber and polymer sectors.
