We are looking for R&D / QC Chemist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting analytical testing, developing methods, supervising laboratory activities, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. This role requires strong expertise in analytical techniques, instrumental and wet analysis, and molecular weight calculations.
Key Responsibilities: o Perform GC (Gas Chromatography), HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography), and UV-Visible Spectroscopy analysis for quality control of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products. o Conduct routine and non-routine analytical testing following standard operating procedures (SOPs). o Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and regulatory standards. o Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments to ensure accurate and reliable test results. o Document and report test results accurately while ensuring data integrity. o Collaborate with production and R&D teams to troubleshoot quality issues and recommend corrective actions. o Monitor and maintain laboratory safety protocols and cleanliness. o Prepare analytical reports and maintain quality documentation. o Assist in method validation, troubleshooting, and process improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
Education: Minimum B.Sc. in Chemistry (First Class); preference for M.Sc. candidates with relevant experience.
Experience: 10-15 years in Quality Control, preferably in the chemical industry.
Skills:
Strong proficiency in analytical techniques, including instrumental and wet chemical analysis.
Extensive knowledge of molecular weight calculations.
Familiarity with ISO, GMP, and regulatory compliance standards.
Hands-on experience with laboratory instruments such as HPLC, GC, and spectroscopy techniques.
Effective leadership and mentoring abilities for managing junior staff.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
