Job Description

The R&D Intern will assist the Research & Development team in designing, developing, and improving jewellery products. The role involves supporting new design concepts, material research, process optimization, and quality enhancement in line with market trends and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in jewellery design development (gold, diamond, gemstone, or silver as applicable).

Support R&D team in new product trials, samples, and prototypes.

Conduct material research related to metals, gemstones, alloys, finishes, and findings.

Help document design specifications, technical drawings, and product data.

Assist in testing jewellery designs for durability, wearability, and quality.

Study market trends, customer preferences, and competitor designs.

Coordinate with CAD designers, production, and QC teams during product development.

Maintain records of R&D experiments, samples, and reports.

Ensure compliance with company quality standards and safety guidelines.

Provide administrative and technical support to the R&D department.

Skills & Competencies:

Basic understanding of jewellery manufacturing processes.

Knowledge of precious metals, gemstones, and diamond basics (preferred).

Familiarity with CAD software (Rhino, Matrix, AutoCAD) is an advantage.

Strong attention to detail and creativity.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work in a team environment.

Basic MS Excel and documentation skills.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
