We are a growing MSME kidswear B2B brand, registered under Udyam, supplying fashionable and high-quality garments to retailers and wholesalers across India. As a small business, we want to maximize every opportunity available through government schemes, subsidies, and financial support to strengthen our growth.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Research & Development Specialist (R&D) / Government Schemes Expert who can identify, track, and apply for all relevant benefits in the MSME, garment, and export ecosystem. This role involves research, documentation, applications, and execution to ensure we get access to subsidies, tax benefits, skill development incentives, and other growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Research and maintain an updated list of MSME / Textile / Garment industry benefits at state and central government level.

2. Identify schemes relevant to small and mid garment manufacturers, exporters, and B2B businesses.

3. Explore benefits for hiring freshers/trainees (e.g., wage subsidy programs, skill development subsidies).

4. Find financial aid, credit-linked schemes, export incentives, subsidies, and tax rebates that apply to us.

5. Draft and submit applications with proper documentation.

6. Liaise with government agencies, industry bodies, or consultants where required.

7. Present monthly reports to management on opportunities, applied schemes, and progress.

8. Suggest new ways to leverage available benefits to cut costs and improve growth.

Requirements:

Strong research skills with ability to dig into government portals, MSME sites, DGFT, SIDBI, NABARD, Textile Ministry, etc.

Prior experience in policy research, MSME consultancy, or garment industry R&D preferred.

Familiarity with Udyam, MSME portal, GEM portal, and subsidy programs.

Good communication skills (Hindi & English) for dealing with officials and agencies.

Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.

Work Structure:

Part-time / Consulting basis (initially)

Weekly office visit (remote with reporting if and when required)

Monthly target: research, applications, and execution of benefits
