Role Summary

The R&D Executive will be responsible for

product development, material research, packaging innovation, automation of manual processes, and structural feasibility

of products--especially large sculptures - within a factory environment. This role bridges

design, engineering, material science, packaging, and automation

to improve product quality, durability, scalability, and logistics efficiency.

Educational Qualifications (Any One - Mandatory)

? Bachelor's Degree in

Product Design / Industrial Design / Automation Engineering / Materials Science / Materials Engineering / Packaging Technology / Structural Engineering / Mechatronics

Product Research & Development

? Research, design, and develop new products and improve existing ones.

? Conduct

market research

to understand trends, customer needs, and competitor products.

? Work on

product feasibility

, cost optimization, and scalability for mass production.

? Collaborate with design, production, and operations teams during product development.

Material Science & Industrial Material Research

? Research and select

industrial-grade materials

suitable for durability, safety, cost, and aesthetics.

? Understand

material properties

such as heat resistance, fire resistance, strength, weight, and environmental impact.

? Experiment with

fusion or combination of materials

to create new or improved materials.

? Ensure materials are suitable for factory manufacturing and long-term product usage.

Packaging Technology & Packaging Research

? Research and design

high-quality packaging

that protects products during storage, transport, and logistics.

? Develop

structurally strong packaging

suitable for fragile, heavy, or large-scale sculptures.

? Ensure packaging supports

logistics efficiency

, cost optimization, and reduced damage.

? Improve packaging designs through

testing, iteration, and market research

.

Automation & Process Improvement

? Identify

manual processes

in product making, packaging, or handling that can be automated.

? Design or support implementation of

process automation

to improve efficiency, consistency, and output.

? Work closely with production teams to ensure automation solutions are

practical and scalable

.

Structural Engineering & Large Sculpture Feasibility

? Ensure structural stability and safety of

large sculptures and complex products

.

? Analyze load, balance, durability, and material suitability for large-scale products.

? Ensure designs are

manufacturable within a factory environment

.

? Support tooling, molds, and structural reinforcements when required.

Quality, Testing & Documentation

? Conduct product, material, and packaging testing for quality and durability.

? Document R&D findings, experiments, test results, and improvement suggestions.

? Ensure R&D outputs align with company quality standards and production capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

? Support product development, testing, and implementation activities.

? Handle day-to-day operational and production-related issues.

? Identify, analyze, and resolve real-time production challenges.

? Maintain technical documentation, drawings, and records as required.

? Actively participate in continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives.

? Comfortable working in a production / factory environment.

? Working knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD / SolidWorks / Fusion or similar).

? Ability to handle hands-on work involving machines and tools.

? Good communication and teamwork skills.

Prior experience in R&D, product development, prototyping, or manufacturing support will be an added advantage
