And match the shades according to the requirements. o Develop New Products: Create and develop new paint products and technologies to meet consumer needs and market trends. o Optimize Existing Products: Improve existing products through formulation optimization, cost reduction, and process improvements. o Conduct Research and Testing: Perform experiments, analyze data, and provide recommendations based on findings. o Manage Technical Complaints: Investigate technical complaints, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions. o Ensure Compliance: Ensure that R&D activities comply with industry standards and regulations. Team Leadership and Collaboration: o Manage R&D Team: Supervise and mentor R&D researchers and engineers. o Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with sales, marketing, and production teams to ensure alignment and successful product launches. o Communicate Effectively: Regularly communicate project progress and issues to stakeholders. o Build Relationships: Maintain relationships with customers, understand their needs, and create pipelines for new projects. Skills 1 Require knowledge of ASTM/DIN quality standards for coatings. 2 Experience with conveyors and powder baking times and temperatures are also beneficial. 3 Understand the properties of different powder coatings and their applications. 4 Ability to match colors and create custom finishes. 5 Ability to perform calculations related to powder coating processes. 6 Technical expertise, leadership, and soft skills, including strong knowledge of powder coating chemistry, formulation, and application, as well as project management, communication, and problem-solving abilities. 7 Deep understanding of powder coating chemistry, including resins, pigments, additives, and their interactions. 8 Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications. 9 Knowledge of the chemical composition, structure, and properties of substances and of the chemical processes and transformations that they undergo. This includes uses of chemicals and their interactions, danger signs, production techniques, and disposal methods.
