Ratti Brands Pvt Ltd is a New York & New Delhi-based beauty company that makes high-performance products to help solve fundamental beauty concerns. Our Performance Skincare brand 'Melblok' makes "Restorative Skin Care Powered by Science". Melblok's products are high-performance, problem-solving, and both effective and safe. We use bio-appropriate, clean ingredients, and materials that are all-natural, sustainable, and biodegradable.

Role Responsibilities:

Conduct detailed research and analysis in cosmetic chemistry and market trends. Develop and formulate new cosmetic products in alignment with company standards. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure products meet consumer needs and align with market demands. Perform quality checks on new and existing products to ensure compliance with industry standards. Prepare product specifications and technical documentation for regulatory approvals. Maintain an organized database of formulations and product performance data. Assist in product testing and collect user feedback for continuous improvement. Keep abreast of advancements in cosmetic ingredients and formulations. Engage with suppliers to source high-quality raw materials for product development. Prepare reports on product efficacy and trends to inform decision-making. Participate in cross-functional meetings to align on project goals and timelines. Support the R&D team with projects from conception to launch. Implement sustainable practices in product development and research initiatives. Contribute innovative ideas for new products or improvements in existing products. Assist in Production technology transfer & other manufacturing task. Assist in Audit & quality check of 3rd party manufactures as required by the company from time to time.

Qualifications

:

Bachelor's degree in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, or a related field. Proven experience in R&D within the cosmetic industry. Strong understanding of cosmetic formulation and manufacturing processes. Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements for cosmetic products. Experience with product testing and quality assurance methodologies. Familiarity with the latest trends in cosmetic ingredients and technology. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Strong attention to detail and project management capabilities. Proficient in using research and data analysis tools. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and workflow. Passion for the cosmetic industry and commitment to continuous learning.

Work Experience

:

Experience in cosmetics, pharma or health/beauty care industry preferred.

Hours: 5 days work week. Weekly off on sat & sun, except during audits, and as required by the company.

Must be willing to Re-Locate within 15mins of the factory walking distance.

: This is a growth position. As the company is growing, the successful candidate will get a chance to rapidly progress into higher roles.
