Key Responsibilities:

Formulation Development:

Develop and optimize formulations for skincare and cosmetic products including creams, gels, serums, lotions, balms, masks, and color cosmetics based on brand briefs, market trends, and performance goals.

Stability & Compatibility Testing:

Conduct physical, chemical, and microbiological stability studies and ensure product safety and efficacy throughout shelf life.

Sampling & Trials:

Prepare lab-scale and pilot batches, record detailed trial reports, and assist in process optimization for manufacturing scale-up.Identify and evaluate new ingredients and actives, ensuring alignment with global regulatory norms (EU, FDA, BIS, etc.) and brand philosophy (natural, vegan, ayurvedic, or dermacare-based).Maintain comprehensive formulation documents, product specifications, COAs, MSDS, and technical dossiers for each product. Support the regulatory team in claim substantiation and product compliance.Work closely with the production, quality, packaging, and marketing teams to ensure successful product development and launches.Stay updated on global beauty trends, novel actives, and sustainable formulation practices to contribute to the brand's innovation pipeline.

B.Pharm / M.Pharm / M.Sc. in Cosmetic Technology, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related discipline. Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in R&D within a skincare/cosmetics manufacturing environment. Strong technical knowledge of emulsions, surfactants, active delivery systems, preservatives, and pH balancing. Proficient in lab equipment operations and basic data analysis. Well-versed in GMP, GLP, and safety practices. Excellent attention to detail, documentation, and time management skills.

Preferred Background:

Experience with natural, ayurvedic, vegan, or luxury skincare and color cosmetics is a strong advantage.
