Job Description
Deliver business value through Right and Fast partnership R&D II Engineer/Scientist - Modeling : . Develop and deliver reactor, kinetic and process models which meet the needs of R&D, Engineering, and Sales Support . Use understanding of kinetics, mass transfer and reaction engineering to make innovative contributions to PMT technology development efforts . Good statistics background with emphasis in non-linear parameter estimation, experimental design, optimization, and data reconciliation . Understanding of process simulation and numerical methods to solve ODEs, PDEs and perform optimization . Develop enhanced work processes and modeling techniques . Understanding of computer programming skills (Fortran, C#, Visual Basic, UNISIM) . Monitors scientific and modeling literature to understand the state of the art and makes recommendations for acquisition of new modeling equipment or tools. Basic Candidate Requirements: . M.Tech or PhD in Chemical Engineering Additional Qualifications . Knowledge of UOP technologies: Refining/Petrochemicals/Gas Processing applications . Understanding data science principles is a plus
