Role Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Research & Development (R&D) Engineer to innovate and enhance our panel board solutions. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing new products, improving existing design, and implementing advanced technologies to ensure our offerings remain at the forefront of the industry. This is a full-time on site role for a Research & Development Engineer at the organization. The Engineer will be responsible got analytical work, research and development, testing, projects and product development on a day-to-day basis.

Experience:

1 to 2 years of experience in R&D or product design, preferably in the panel board or relevant industry. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Solidworks, with expertise in sheet metal development and fabrication techniques. Knowledge of manufacturing processes, material, and electrical systems.

Skills:

Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. AutoCAD & Solidworks. Sheet-metal development (AutoCAD & Solidworks). Microsoft Office. Product Development Skill.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Development:

Design, prototype, and test new panel board products, ensuring functionality, reliability, and compliance with industry standards. Utilize AutoCAD and Solidworks for detailed product design, including sheet metal development for enclosures and panel components. Create precise 3D models and flat patterns for sheet metal fabrication. Analyse existing panel board designs to identify areas for improvement in performance, cost-efficiency, and manufacturability. Identify areas for process optimization and cost reduction in panel design and production. Develop electrical panels and control system tailored to customer specifications and project requirements. Create GA (General Arrangement) drawings using CAD software. Select appropriate materials and equipment for panel construction. Collaborate with project managers, production teams, and fellow engineers to ensure projects are delivered on time. Prepare comprehensive project documentation, including design calculations, bill of material (BOM) and technical reports.
