Job Description

Design and develop innovative lighting systems and components for electronic products. Develop circuit designs for lighting applications including drivers, dimmers, and controllers. Collaborate with industrial designers, mechanical engineers, and software teams to integrate lighting solutions seamlessly into products. Conduct simulations and modeling (e.g., thermal, optical, electrical) to optimize lighting performance. Create and test prototypes to validate design concepts and performance. Support the transition of designs from R&D to manufacturing, including DFM/DFT considerations. Document all designs, test results, and validation reports as per company and regulatory standards. Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory requirements (RoHS, CE, etc.), and emerging technologies in lighting and electronics.

Skill Set

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in R&D or product development related to lighting or LED technologies. Strong understanding of LED lighting principles, thermal management, optics, and power electronics. Knowledge of lighting protocols and standards (e.g., DALI, DMX512, PWM control). Familiarity with embedded systems and microcontroller programming is a plus.
