Job Description

To develop and document analytical methods as standard operating procedures To perform analytical methods in the characterisation of solvent samples To prepare samples and accurately quantify their compositions To assess and interpret results and data from analyses performed To manage the safe operation of analytical equipment To troubleshoot and problem solve issues with methods, processes and equipment

Requirements



A bachelor's or master's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or a relevant subject. 3 to 6 years of experience of working in a laboratory environment. Thorough understanding of chemical analysis methods, including but not limited to: GC-FID, GC-TCD, GC-MS, LC-MS, TIC/TOC, acid/base titration, KF titration, ICP-OES, FTIR. Expertise in chromatography is highly desirable Experience in mass spectrometry is beneficial Knowhow and experience in analysing and resolving complex sample matrices is preferred. Display the ability to critically assess data and literature to provide insight to the Research and technical teams when required. An expert communicator with the ability to report technical information to a non-technical audience. Demonstrate an ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision. You should have fluent verbal and written English language skills.
