Industry: Grain Processing / Rice Milling / Material Handling Equipment

Key Responsibilities

R&D ; New Product Development

? Support and coordinate multiple R&D programs related to rice mills, grain

processing, handling, and storage equipment.

? Participate in design reviews with cross-functional teams (CFT) focusing on DFA,

DFM, DFS, and cost optimization.

? Prepare and execute design validation plans, including lab, field, and site

validation.

? Support field issue resolution, product improvements, homologation, and

certifications.

? Contribute to DFMEA, control plans, and continuous design standardization

initiatives.

Design &Engineering

? Develop 2D & 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.

? Strong exposure to machine design and welded structural design.

? Knowledge of casting, forging, machining, and fabrication processes.

? Perform tolerance stack-up analysis and GD&T as per ASME Y14.5 and IS

standards.

? Support material selection including MS, alloy steel, castings, and stainless steel.

? Basic understanding of electrical and electronic systems integration.

? Convert approved designs into detailed manufacturing and fabrication drawings.

? Add welding symbols, machining symbols, and surface finish details.

? Prepare BOMs, standard material purchase lists, and routing details.

Tools & Software

? SolidWorks (CAD & PDM), AutoCAD (2D), PLM / PDM systems, ANSYS

Workbench - Added advantage

Qualifications & Experience

? Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering

? 3-6 years of experience in R&D design / drafting / machine design

? Experience in grain processing, rice milling, material handling, or heavy

equipment industry is a strong advantage

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?300,000.00 - ?800,000.00 per year
