Job Description

We're seeking a Cosmetic Chemist to develop UV Gel Nail Polish formulations. The ideal candidate will have experience in color cosmetics or nail polish formulation, with expertise in shade matching, and raw material analysis. This role involves creating high-quality colors, ensuring product stability, and identifying raw material alternatives, if necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

Formulation Development:

Create and refine UV gel nail polish formulations for optimal quality and performance.

Color Matching:

Develop new shades and match existing colors, ensuring consistency and accuracy. Using a TRIPLE ROLL MILL to make color solutions.

Raw Material Analysis:

Review technical specs (viscosity, stability) and suggest raw material alternatives.

Documentation & SOPs:

Maintain proper documentation and adhere to SOPs for formulation and testing.

Lab Maintenance:

Ensure lab space and equipment are organized, calibrated, and safe.

Quality Control:

Test formulations for stability, performance, and UV curing efficiency.

Education:

Bachelor's/Master's in Cosmetic Chemistry, Chemistry, or related field

Experience:

2/3 years in color cosmetics or nail polish formulation, with strong knowledge of shade matching and raw material specs.

Skills:

Expertise in color formulation

Comfortable with operating Lab Equipment's: Triple Roll Mill (TRM), Viscometer, Homogeniser

(Mixer), Sonicator, Hegman Guage, Stability Chamber.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per year
