We are seeking a professional with a strong background in Research & Development and Environment, Health & Safety (EHS), combined with expertise in licensing, regulatory frameworks, and legal compliance. The role requires ensuring all R&D operations comply with local, national, and international regulatory requirements, while also driving innovation and maintaining a safe, compliant work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure R&D projects and EHS practices comply with applicable
laws, regulations, and licenses
.
Manage
regulatory submissions, approvals, and renewals
related to R&D and EHS operations.
Liaise with
legal authorities, government bodies, and regulatory agencies
for licensing and compliance matters.
Draft, review, and maintain
legal documentation, policies, and compliance records
.
Conduct
risk assessments, audits, and inspections
to ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety standards.
Provide guidance to R&D teams on
ethical, regulatory, and legal considerations
in product development.
Develop and implement
compliance training programs
for R&D and EHS teams.
Support the company in
litigation, dispute resolution, and legal advisory
related to EHS and regulatory matters.
Keep track of
emerging laws, regulatory changes, and compliance trends
that impact R&D and EHS functions.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's/Master's degree in
Law, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
.
Experience in
Research & Development
,
EHS management
, and
regulatory/legal compliance
.
Strong knowledge of
licensing requirements, regulatory frameworks, and environmental laws
.
Excellent
analytical, negotiation, and documentation
skills.
Ability to work with
cross-functional teams
including R&D, operations, and legal departments.
