This role involves managing day-to-day RCM operations, monitoring team performance, preparing department reports, and providing clear updates to management.
Team Leadership & Oversight
Lead, supervise, and guide the RCM team in daily operations.
Monitor productivity and quality of work, ensuring KPIs and SLAs are met.
Provide training, support, and performance feedback to team members.
Act as the point of escalation for complex billing or claims issues.
Revenue Cycle Operations
Oversee follow-ups on outstanding medical bills and unpaid claims.
Ensure accurate and timely submission of claims to insurance companies.
Work with payers, healthcare providers, and patients to resolve denials or billing discrepancies.
Maintain and update account information with proper documentation of all interactions.
Collaboration & Issue Resolution
Coordinate with medical coders, billers, and internal departments to streamline the billing process.
Ensure compliance with US healthcare billing standards and payer guidelines.
Identify gaps or patterns affecting revenue and recommend corrective actions.
Reporting & Analytics
Prepare and maintain regular reports on A/R status, collections, denials, and team performance.
Analyze trends, highlight risks, and provide actionable insights to the management.
Present department overviews, progress, and challenges during management reviews.
Qualifications & Skills
4-6 years of experience in US
Revenue Cycle Management
, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
Strong understanding of medical billing, claims follow-up, denials management, and payer rules.
Experience with medical billing software
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to prepare and interpret data reports.
Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and manage a team effectively.
High attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and customer service orientation.
