Job Description

To support students with special needs by providing individualized assistance, adapting educational materials, and ensuring inclusion in classroom activities, while collaborating with teachers and parents to foster academic and social development.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide individualized and group instruction tailored to students with special needs.

Support the implementation of IEPs (Individualized Education Plans).

Modify classroom materials to meet students' learning needs.

Assist students with daily routines, behavioral support, and academic tasks.

Maintain records of student progress and challenges.

Collaborate with class teachers, therapists, and parents for coordinated care.

Create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.

Encourage independence, social interaction, and confidence among students.

Attend team meetings, training sessions, and parent-teacher conferences.

Maintain confidentiality and uphold school policies at all times.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (preferably in Special Education, Psychology, or related fields)

Certification in Special Education (preferred)

Prior experience working with children with special needs (ASD, ADHD, LD, etc.)

Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills

Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
