Job Description

About the team:

Paytm is witnessing a broad growth across our platform as we continue to register increased adoption of our lending products, Paytm Postpaid (BNPL), merchant loans and personal loans. Lending business is driven by data science and analytics, providing data driven solutions

About the role:

Evangelize and demonstrate value and impact of analytics for informed business decision making by developing and deploying analytical solutions and providing data driven insights to business stakeholders to understand and solve for various lending business nuances.

Expectations/ Requirements:

1. Coordination with finance team members to understand the processes and identifying the

risks in processes

2. Design and implement internal control systems/policies to reduce the risk

3. Provide recommendations through analysis of financial and non-financial data

4. Enhance/develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for various processes in the finance

department

5. Periodic review of critical SOPs of finance department and providing improvement scope

document

6. Work on root cause analysis (RCA) and identifying the root cause to be solved

7. Ensure the problem identifies in RCA is resolved and the process is amended accordingly for

the future period

8. Establishes policies and procedures to identify and address risks in the organizational

processes.

9. Reviews and assesses risk management policies; makes recommendations and implements the

improvements.

10. Understanding of policies and best practices of risk management.

MBA Finance/ Chartered Accountant
