Raw Materials Store Supervisor

Pirana, Ahmedabad

(Depending on Interview)Key Duties and Responsibilities

Receiving Materials:

Supervise unloading and verification of incoming raw materials against purchase orders and invoices.

Storage Management:

Ensure proper labelling, stacking, and safe storage of materials according to their category and shelf-life.

Inventory Control:

Maintain accurate stock records in ERP or manual registers; conduct regular physical stock checks.

Material Issuance:

Coordinate timely issuance of materials to the production or quality department as per material requisitions.

Documentation:

Prepare GRNs (Goods Received Notes), stock statements, and inventory reports.

Coordination:

Liaise with purchase, quality, and production teams for material availability and quality issues.

Compliance:

Ensure housekeeping, safety, and adherence to GMP or 5S standards in the store area.

Team Supervision:

Oversee store helpers and ensure efficient workflow and discipline.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of inventory management systems . Knowledge of Basic Excel Strong organizational and documentation skills. Familiarity with FIFO / FEFO material handling practices. Basic understanding of material safety and quality standards.
