The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing raw materials essential for our production processes. The role involves maintaining strong vendor relationships, ensuring timely deliveries, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our supply chain. Responsibilities: Vendor Management: \xc2\xb7 Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers of raw materials. \xc2\xb7 Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure favourable agreements. \xc2\xb7 Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure a reliable supply of quality raw materials. Sourcing: \xc2\xb7 Research and identify potential suppliers, staying abreast of market trends and industry developments. \xc2\xb7 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine raw material requirements. Purchasing: \xc2\xb7 Process purchase orders and ensure accuracy in terms of specifications, quantities, and delivery schedules. \xc2\xb7 Monitor and manage inventory levels to optimize stock levels and prevent shortages. \xc2\xb7 Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality standards. Quality Assurance: \xc2\xb7 Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure that raw materials meet specified quality standards. \xc2\xb7 Address any quality issues promptly and work towards continuous improvement. Documentation: \xc2\xb7 Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and lead times. \xc2\xb7 Generate reports and analyze data to identify cost-saving opportunities. Compliance: \xc2\xb7 Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all procurement activities. \xc2\xb7 Stay informed about changes in regulations that may impact the procurement process. Qualifications: \xc2\xb7 Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. \xc2\xb7 Proven experience as a Purchase Executive, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry. \xc2\xb7 Strong negotiation and communication skills. \xc2\xb7 Familiarity with pharmaceutical raw materials and their specifications. \xc2\xb7 Proficient in using procurement software and MS Office applications. \xc2\xb7 Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards. \xc2\xb7 Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
