Rail Systems/ Signalling Specialists (High-Speed) - India
The market leading infrastructure recruitment specialist is seeking a number of highly skilled Rail Systems specialists for an upcoming High Speed Rail project in India. experienced Structural Specialist for Underground Stations to join a leading consultancy firm on a major ongoing rail project in Manila.
Opportunity:
India's first bullet train project-the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High Speed Rail (MAHSR)-is redefining the future of transportation. As we accelerate toward completion, we are seeking dynamic, experienced professionals to lead and deliver the Systems Package of this landmark infrastructure initiative.
Project Overview
The MAHSR corridor spans over 500 km, integrating cutting-edge rail technologies including signalling, telecommunications, SCADA, and FRMCS. This is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to contribute to a transformative national project with global visibility.
Open Positions
Project Director - Lead the overall execution of the Systems Package, manage multidisciplinary teams, ensure alignment with strategic goals, and represent the project to stakeholders.
Deputy Project Director - Support the Project Director in day-to-day operations, oversee coordination across technical domains, and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
Chief Expert - Contract Manage - contract strategy, claims, negotiations, and compliance with international standards and Indian regulations.
Chief Expert - Signalling System - Oversee design, integration, and commissioning of advanced signalling systems including ETCS Level 2/3.
Chief Expert - Telecommunication System - Lead deployment of robust telecom infrastructure including backbone networks, passenger information systems, and operational communications.
Chief Expert - Radio System (incl. FRMCS) - Spearhead implementation of Future Railway Mobile Communication System (FRMCS) and ensure seamless radio coverage across the corridor.
Chief Expert - OCC System - Design and deliver the Operational Control Centre systems, ensuring real-time monitoring, control, and safety of train operations.
Chief Expert - Overall ITC - Coordinate integration, testing, and commissioning of all systems to ensure interoperability and performance compliance.
Chief Expert - SCADA - Lead the design and implementation of SCADA systems for power, traction, and environmental controls across stations and depots.
Requirements

• Proven track record in large-scale infrastructure or rail projects
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience (20+ for Director roles)
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• International exposure and familiarity with Japanese or European rail standards preferred
• Engineering degree in relevant discipline; advanced qualifications desirable

Language:
Fluency in English writing and communication
Salary Package:
The salary package is likely to be $8,000 to $14,000 per month tax free plus expatriate package
