We are seeking a skilled and experienced

Radiology Typist

for our diagnostic center in Kompally. The ideal candidate should be proficient in typing radiology reports accurately and swiftly across all modalities including:

MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging)

CT (Computed Tomography)

X-ray

Ultrasound (USG)

Mammography, Doppler, and other advanced scans

Key Responsibilities:

Transcribe dictated reports and handwritten notes from radiologists into digital format. Ensure accuracy and clarity in all reports, adhering to medical terminology and formatting standards. Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure HIPAA compliance. Coordinate with radiologists and technicians to verify unclear information. Perform proofreading and correction of any errors before final report delivery. Organize and archive typed reports for future reference and legal compliance.

Requirements:

Proven experience in radiology typing (minimum 1 year preferred). Excellent command of

medical terminology

specific to radiology. Fast and accurate

typing speed

(minimum 50 WPM preferred). Familiarity with RIS/PACS systems is an added advantage. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

Degree/Diploma in Medical Transcription or any medical background preferred. Prior work experience in a diagnostic center, hospital, or clinic. Basic knowledge of MS Word and reporting software.
