A Radiology Technician performs diagnostic imaging procedures and supports radiologists by accurately typing, formatting, and maintaining radiology reports. The role combines technical imaging skills with documentation and administrative accuracy to ensure high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays, CT scans, MRI, or fluoroscopy
Prepare and position patients for imaging examinations
Ensure radiation safety and infection control protocols are followed
Produce high-quality diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation
Accurately type, edit, and format radiology reports as dictated by radiologists
Enter patient information and imaging results into electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and facility policies
Assist radiologists and healthcare staff with imaging workflow
Maintain imaging equipment and report technical issues
Qualifications & Requirements
Degree or diploma in Radiologic Technology
Completion of an accredited radiology program
Valid state license and/or ARRT certification (if required)
Proficiency in medical terminology and report typing
Experience with EMR, PACS, and dictation/transcription systems
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Accurate and timely report typing and documentation
Knowledge of radiology procedures and anatomy
Excellent keyboarding and computer skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
