Job Description
:
Patient care:
- Explain procedures and answer patient questions.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during the scan.
- Position the patient correctly for the best possible image.
- Administer contrast materials if needed.
- Operate a variety of imaging equipment, such as Mammography, DEXA, X-ray, machines.
- Adjust machine settings to obtain clear and accurate images.
- Ensure equipment is properly functioning and maintained through regular cleaning and inspection.
- Monitor the image display during scanning and make necessary adjustments.
- Evaluate the quality of the images to ensure they are diagnostic.
- Organize and send images to the medical team for diagnosis.
- Implement radiation protection measures for patients.
- Manage infectious and radioactive materials according to safety protocols
