Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare patients for radiologic procedures by explaining the process and ensuring proper positioning. Operate imaging equipment (e.g., X-ray, CT, or MRI machines) in a safe and accurate manner. Follow physician orders precisely and capture high-quality diagnostic images. Adhere to radiation safety protocols and regulations to protect patients, staff, and themselves. Monitor patients during procedures and report any unusual reactions. Maintain accurate records of imaging procedures and patient data. Ensure cleanliness and proper functioning of imaging equipment. Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to evaluate images and determine if additional imaging is needed. Assist in maintaining supplies and managing inventory for the radiology department. Uphold patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
