The Imaging Centre Manager oversees the daily operations of the imaging or radiology department, ensuring efficient, high-quality diagnostic imaging services. They lead clinical staff, manage business growth initiatives, build relationships with referring physicians, and ensure compliance with healthcare standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of radiology technologists and support staff.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols, healthcare regulations, and accreditation standards.
Manage scheduling, patient appointments, and workflow to optimize efficiency.
Oversee maintenance and calibration of imaging equipment.
Monitor and control departmental budget and expenses.
Provide training, performance evaluations, and professional development for staff.
Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping.
Implement and oversee quality assurance and quality control programs.
Stay updated with advancements in imaging technology and best practices.
Marketing and Business Development:
Develop and implement strategies to increase patient volume and revenue.
Build and maintain relationships with referring physicians, clinics, and hospitals.
Identify new service opportunities and market needs within the community or healthcare network.
Coordinate marketing campaigns, promotional activities, and outreach programs.
Monitor competitors and industry trends to maintain a competitive edge.
Collaborate with the marketing team to improve brand visibility and patient engagement.
Gather feedback from patients and physicians to enhance service delivery and satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
Relevant professional certification/license (e.g., ARRT, equivalent).
Proven leadership and management experience in a medical imaging setting.
Strong knowledge of medical imaging procedures, safety standards, and healthcare regulations.
Experience in marketing, sales, or business development within healthcare preferred.
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
