Facilitating effective communication and resolving conflicts within the department and across the hospital.
Supervise and manage radiology staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating performance
Ensure quality patient care by developing, implementing, and evaluating processes and procedures
Maintain compliance with Local and state regulations, as well as safety and quality standards
Develop and manage departmental budgets, including monitoring spending, analyzing financial data, and making recommendations for cost-saving measures
Oversee the procurement and maintenance of radiology equipment and supplies
Collaborate with other healthcare providers and departments to coordinate patient care and services
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, and make recommendations for improvements to practices, equipment, and procedures
Monitor and evaluate departmental performance metrics, and make changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in radiologic technology or related field
Current certification as a radiologic technologist
8-10
years of experience in a radiology department is mandatory
2+ years of management or supervisory experience
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of Local & state regulations and safety and quality standards
Proficient in using radiology equipment and software
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
