We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in medical imaging and demonstrate proficiency in utilizing various EHR systems, including Epic. This role requires expertise in diagnostic radiology, interventional radiology, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care across diverse medical specialties. The Radiologist will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
Interpret medical images, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds to provide accurate diagnoses.
Collaborate with referring physicians to discuss findings and recommend further diagnostic or treatment options.
Perform interventional procedures as needed, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Participate in clinical research initiatives to advance the field of radiology and improve patient care practices.
Provide education to patients regarding procedures and imaging processes to alleviate concerns and enhance understanding.
Stay updated on advancements in radiology technology and techniques to ensure the highest quality of care.
Requirements
Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification in Radiology.
Proficiency in EHR systems, particularly Epic, along with experience in EMR systems.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to various specialties such as cardiology, oncology, neurology, and pediatrics.
Experience with diagnostic imaging modalities including mammography, nuclear medicine, and vascular interventional radiography is preferred.
Familiarity with clinical practices related to critical care, emergency medicine, outpatient services, and surgical procedures.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare professionals and patient interaction.
Ability to perform basic life support and maintain current certifications relevant to the position.
