The Radiographer will be responsible for performing and managing
CT, MRI, Digital X-ray, and Mammography procedures
, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images, patient safety, and compliance with hospital, NABH, and AERB standards. Special emphasis will be on
mammography services
, including patient care and quality imaging.
Key Responsibilities
Perform
CT, MRI, Digital X-ray, and Mammography examinations
as per radiologist instructions.
Handle
screening and diagnostic mammography
with proper positioning and patient care.
Ensure
accurate patient identification, preparation, and positioning
for all imaging procedures.
Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently, following
ALARA radiation safety principles
.
Assist radiologists during
contrast studies and special imaging procedures
.
Maintain
image quality, documentation, and PACS/RIS updates
.
Conduct
daily quality checks
, equipment calibration, and report any technical issues.
Adhere strictly to
AERB, NABH, and hospital SOPs
.
Maintain patient confidentiality and professional conduct.
Coordinate with nursing, doctors, and front office for smooth workflow.
Provide empathetic care, especially for
female patients undergoing mammography
.
