Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine and emergency X-rays as requested by physicians. Operate and maintain radiographic equipment safely and efficiently. Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures. Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain processes clearly. Maintain accurate patient records and imaging logs. Follow radiation safety protocols and infection control standards. Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other departments for effective patient care. Report equipment malfunctions and ensure timely maintenance. Participate in audits, quality control, and continuous improvement processes. Assist in maintaining inventory of radiology supplies and consumables. Maintain confidentiality and uphold patient dignity at all times.

Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Radiography / Medical Imaging Technology. Valid certification or license to practice as a radiographer (as per local regulations). Minimum 1-2 years of experience preferred (freshers may also be considered). Sound knowledge of radiographic equipment and safety protocols. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
