About the Role

We are looking for a qualified and dedicated

Radiographer

to join our hospital's Radiology Department in Assam. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in accurate diagnosis and treatment. Key Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays, CT scans, MRI, and other radiographic examinations as required. Ensure correct patient identification, positioning, and exposure settings for optimal image quality. Maintain radiation safety standards and follow all hospital protocols for infection control. Work closely with radiologists, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic support. Properly maintain and operate imaging equipment; promptly report any faults or service needs. Keep accurate and confidential patient records and reports. Assist in training and guiding junior staff or students when necessary. Participate in departmental meetings, audits, and quality improvement programs.

Qualifications and Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Radiography / Medical Imaging Technology from a recognized institution. Valid registration with the

Paramedical Council

or relevant regulatory authority. Minimum

1-2 years of experience

in diagnostic radiography preferred (freshers may also apply). Knowledge of modern imaging systems (CR/DR, CT, MRI) will be an advantage. Strong communication, organizational, and patient-care skills. Willingness to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and on-call duties as required.
