Key Responsibilities

Perform routine and advanced

3T MRI scanning procedures

including brain, spine, musculoskeletal, neuro & angiography protocols. Ensure accurate patient positioning and selection of scan parameters. Conduct pre-scan patient assessments and explain procedures to patients. Screen patients for

MRI safety, implants & contraindications

. Operate MRI systems, coils and accessories effectively. Optimize image quality and troubleshoot artifacts. Collaborate with radiologists for contrast studies and special examinations. Follow

ALARA radiation safety

, contrast administration and infection control protocols. Manage PACS/RIS workflow, patient scheduling and reporting documentation. Maintain cleanliness and daily QA/QC checks of MRI equipment. Provide emergency support for contrast reactions (BLS knowledge preferred).

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum

3 years experience in MRI imaging

, preference for

3T MRI

systems (GE / Siemens / Philips). Strong technical knowledge of MRI physics, sequences, protocols and coils. Ability to work independently under pressure and maintain accuracy. Good interpersonal and patient-management skills. PACS / RIS operation proficiency. Willing to work shift duties / weekend rotations.
