Safety & Compliance:
Adhere to radiation safety standards and protocols to minimize exposure to patients, colleagues, and oneself. Ensure all imaging is carried out according to departmental guidelines and health and safety regulations.
Image Quality Control:
Evaluate the quality of images and ensure that the scans meet diagnostic standards. If necessary, adjust imaging techniques to improve image clarity.
Collaboration:
Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and report findings from imaging procedures.
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate patient records, including imaging results and any relevant patient information.
Equipment Maintenance:
Regularly check and maintain imaging equipment to ensure it is in good working condition. Report any issues or malfunctions to appropriate personnel.
Continuous Learning:
Stay updated on the latest developments in radiography, imaging techniques, and healthcare standards by attending training sessions and continuing education courses.
