About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on engineer with strong Python automation skills to join the

PHY System Team

within Ceragon's Radio Group. You will work on developing, running, and maintaining automated test scripts for Ceragon's wireless communication systems, focusing on the radio unit (RF, modem, and MAC layers). This role involves building test scenarios, executing measurement campaigns, analyzing results, and contributing to continuous improvements in our system test processes.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and improve Python-based automated test scripts for radio unit (RF + modem + MAC) verification. Participate in defining test requirements and scenarios for system-level validation. Execute automated and manual tests for RF performance, modem functionality, and MAC-level features. Collect, process, and analyze measurement data to identify issues, trends, and performance improvements. Work closely with

system engineers, PHY/MAC designers, SW, and VNV

teams to ensure test coverage and reliability. Document test cases, procedures, and results for traceability and knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

Requirements

B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Communications, Computer Science, or equivalent. ~3 years of hands-on experience in Python automation for testing and measurements. Familiarity with RF concepts, wireless communication systems, or PHY/MAC layer protocols. Previous experience in system testing and measurement analysis. Experience with lab instruments (spectrum analyzers, signal generators, network analyzers) - an advantage. Experience with Git - an advantage. Good technical documentation skills. Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex test results. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Team player with good communication skills.
