Job Brief This is a role for an experienced transportation operations manager with a deep understanding of the cab rental business who is not only unafraid to be hands-on and work from the field but is also tech savvy to operate the latest transport management software from his desk. About The Firm NVS Travel Solutions is a 17-year-old firm that operates a cab rental service pan India apart from other transport operations. In 2023, NVS has scaled to a fleet size of 900+ vehicles and also has its own in-house tech team, which has been building software solutions for the transport industry for the last 4 years, making the future of this firm bright and greener. Job Responsibilities Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs): Service pricing & P&L of Large accounts Cab rental service delivery quality standards & process. Credit negotiation and supplier onboarding Customer Retention and account expansion Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Total revenue and Profitability SLA & process adherence Supplier quality performance Number of Bookings Job Role Manage the entire end-to-end life cycle of all cab rental service requests which include but are not limited to: Collecting customer requirements. Verifying availability of vehicles and drivers. Capture customer confirmation & document the incoming requests Allocating suppliers and vehicles. Capturing details of drivers to vehicles. Conducting vehicle and driver checks and briefings. Tracking transportation operations before, during, and after the trip to ensure smooth operations. Identifying challenges in time and addressing them. Handling customer billing, and payment collection. Verifying supplier trip documents and paying suppliers. Regular data tracking and audits of regulatory compliance Supplier performance And other KPIs Developing and implementing transportation policies and procedures. Analyzing transportation data to identify areas for improvement. Resolving transportation-related issues and complaints. Staying up-to-date on industry trends and regulations. Pre-Requisites:(Interview Criterion) Experience working in the people transportation business in an operations role that involved manipulating transportation software systems. Deep understanding of the life cycles of different kinds of Rent-a-cab service requests. A skilled negotiator and risk manager with experience in overcoming multiple kinds of unexpected challenges in the cab rental business and a proven ability to predict and create processes to avoid or identify risks. A willingness to work both on-site and from the office to deliver superlative customer success. An extreme ownership attitude with an ability to inspire his/her team, and lead by example.
