About Assurance Provides an independent assessment of the outsourced and organization\xe2\x80\x99s control procedures and establishes whether those controls meet the objectives stated by management. The third-party services may be utilized to demonstrate those controls to customers and their auditors. Advisory, assurance and trust services will also provide management with assistance and a level of assurance over business and/or IT controls.
Assistant Manager
Roles and Responsibilities A Assitant Manager at Deloitte is expected to contribute to the firm\'s growth and development in a variety of ways, including:

  • Assess operational risk incidents using methods such as root cause analysis and consult with business to develop corrective action plans.
  • Oversee implementation progress and conduct validation efforts as required.
  • Coordinate with business and support partners for creation of Self-Disclosed issues in Issues Management system of record. Record losses in the system of record, as applicable.
  • Identify Evidence-Based Control Evaluation needs and collaborate with the business and EBCE team.

Eligibility criteria and requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in risk management (includes compliance, financial crimes, operational risk, audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, IT systems security, business process management) or 15+ years of financial services industry experience, of which 5+ years must include direct experience in risk management demonstrated through work.
  • University degree in Business, Finance or related discipline
  • Strong Operational risk domain knowledge/experience
  • Good Communication Skills
  • Strong written communication
  • Attention to detail & critical deadlines
  • Ability to organize & manage large book of issues/incidents with competing deadlines & priorities
  • Sound knowledge of MS Office especially Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Certifications Certification in Risk Management such as ORM/FRM/CISA is desirable and preferred
