JOB SUMMARY: 
QUESS is looking for a PHP Developer responsible for creating and implementing an array of Web-based products using Zend, PHP, MySQL, Ajax, and JavaScript to develop components, connect the application with other web services, and assist front-end developers by ensuring their work integrates with the application. Also, to develop and integrate plug-ins for popular frameworks. 
ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES: 
Design, develop and test software 
Prepare technical specifications as required 
Maintain the operation of business systems and applications 
Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve application incidents 
Participate in planning activities 
Create and update relevant documentation 
Improve upon and ensure the adherence to the established practices, processes and guidelines 
 Keep current with relevant technologies 
Mentor other Application Developers 
Perform other duties as assigned. 
 
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: 
 
B.Tech./BCA/ MTech. /MCA, B.Sc. (IT)/M.Sc. (IT) 
 
EXPERIENCE: 
3-7 years of experience 
 
DESIRED SKILLS: 
Must Have: 
· Proven software development experience in PHP 
Experience with Zend framework2, angular, MySQL, Strong in MySQL Database (analyze, create and normalize the database independently) 
Strong in Smarty, Zend, Cl with installation process 
Strong in JavaScript, Ajax, jQuery  
Knowledge of Apache Server and Linux 
Knowledge of XML, HTML, HTML5, XHTML, CSS 
 
SKILLS NICE TO HAVE (these skills would be considered as a plus point): 
Working experience in Angular, Node.js 
Working experience in CMS like WordPress Customization, Joomla and Drupal, etc. 
Working knowledge in Magento, Shopify, Presta Shop, and WooCommerce 
Sound knowledge of version control tools and of developing RESTful APIs
