Job Description

• Responsible for monitoring and controlling the cost of projects from concept to completion.
• Preparation of detailed BOQ (Bill of Quantity) & BOM (Bill of Materials) on the basis of drawings for individual residential units & prepare detailed budgets for the same.
• Preparation of master schedule for the project material requirement.
• Negotiate with vendors / suppliers
• Preparation of Work Order to Sub contractors, preparation of Purchase orders etc.
• Certification of bills and invoices from vendors, contractors, consultants and engineers, Preparation of progress report.
• Conduct market analysis in order to know the current rates of the materials before floating tender and inviting quotations.
• Material reconciliation on monthly basis/as requested by management.
• Co-ordination with architectural, contractors, purchase & project execution for optimum costs as per the budges.
• Preparation of P/L statement of the project.
• Expertise in BOQ & BOM.
• Experience in Costing
• Experience in handling pre contracts
• Experience in Costing, BOQ & Budgeting
• Experience in In-house residential projects
• Complete working knowledge in Quantity Surveying.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD workings
• QS Professional with minimum 10 years of experience, preferably in residential construction industry.
• Quantity surveying, cost estimation & project scheduling, Preparation of BOQ & Drawings Resource planning, contract finalization and tender documentation.
• Good knowledge of the latest materials & technologies including form work, construction machinery, resource utilization, project progress evaluation.
• Experience in green & smart building constructions will be an added advantage.
