Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), and feasibility studies during the design phase
Develop tender documentation and assist in contractor selection and negotiations
Monitor project costs and expenditures throughout the construction phase; update budgets and track variation
Perform interim valuations, issue payment certificates, and manage subcontractor payments
Identify and mitigate commercial risks; perform value engineering to optimize cost-efficiency
Administer contracts, including variation orders, claims, and final account settlements
Conduct site inspections to validate progress and completed works
Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, health & safety, and quality standards
Prepare and present regular cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and final project summaries to stakeholders .
Collaborate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and project managers
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
Minimum4+ years of experience in quantity surveying, cost consultancy, or related commercial roles
Professional accreditation (e.g., RICS/AIQS) is an advantage
