Yathra Construction is looking for a skilled

Quantity Surveyor

to manage cost estimation, quantity take-offs, and contract administration for our ongoing project in

Madurai

. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring project costs, preparing detailed quantity estimates, and ensuring all work aligns with project budgets and contractual specifications. This role requires strong analytical skills, precision in measurements, and a solid understanding of construction methods and materials.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed quantity take-offs from drawings, specifications, and site conditions. Assist in preparing BOQs, rate analysis, and cost estimates for various project stages. Monitor project costs and prepare periodic cost reports. Evaluate and certify subcontractor bills in coordination with site engineers. Analyze variations, claims, and prepare supporting documentation. Conduct site visits to verify executed quantities and ensure accuracy in measurements. Assist in tendering processes and comparison of contractor quotations. Maintain updated records of all cost-related data and billing documentation. Support project management in budgeting, cost planning, and forecasting.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying. 2-5 years of experience in quantity surveying or cost control (construction sector preferred). Strong knowledge of estimation, BOQ preparation, and contract administration. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and QS/Billing software. Excellent numerical, analytical, and documentation skills.
