- Quantity Surveyor (QS)

Role Summary:

The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing all cost and contractual aspects of construction projects at Casagrand. The role ensures value for money while maintaining the required standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare

BOQs (Bills of Quantities)

and

estimates

during the pre-construction stage. Conduct

rate analysis

and cost comparisons for materials and subcontract works. Assist in

budget preparation

, cost planning, and monitoring project costs.

Verify contractor bills

, measurement sheets, and site quantities. Evaluate and

certify subcontractor payments

as per work progress. Prepare

variation claims, escalation statements

, and

cost reports

. Coordinate with

project engineers, architects, and procurement teams

for timely cost control. Support

tendering and bidding

activities, including BOQ validation and rate negotiations. Ensure compliance with

contract terms, drawings, and specifications

. Maintain updated

cost databases

and historical cost records. Prepare

monthly cost reports

,

cash flow projections

, and

budget vs. actual

analysis.

Skills & Qualifications:

B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering

or

Diploma in Civil Engineering

.

2-8 years

of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in real estate / construction. Strong knowledge of

construction materials, methods, and cost estimation

. Proficient in

MS Excel, AutoCAD, and quantity take-off software

(like CostX, Candy, etc.). Good analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Experience with

residential and commercial projects

is an added advantage.
