Key Responsibilities
Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities (BOQ).
Analyze architectural and engineering drawings and specifications.
Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.
Prepare tender documents and evaluate bids.
Monitor project costs and report on any financial deviations.
Conduct cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work.
Prepare and manage project cash flow forecasts and final accounts.
Ensure compliance with legal and quality standards in all commercial practices.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction cost management.
Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and regulations.
Proficiency in estimation and cost management software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Excel, CostX).
Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
