Key Responsibilities
Prepare quantity take-offs and
BOQs
from drawings and specifications.
Assist in project cost estimation, budgeting, and rate analysis.
Support tendering activities and contractor evaluation.
Measure work executed at site and maintain
Measurement Books (M-Book)
.
Prepare and verify
RA / part bills
and contractor invoices.
Monitor project costs, variations, and extra items.
Coordinate with site engineers and project managers for quantity and billing accuracy.
Track material consumption and control wastage.
Prepare RE / Revised Estimates for additional or modified scope of work.
Ensure billing is in line with BOQ, drawings, and contract terms.
Assist in handling variations, claims, and reconciliation statements.
Maintain cost control reports and cash flow statements.
Prepare and finalize
final bills
and close project accounts.
Assist in preparing project cost summaries and profitability reports.
Verify and approve material quantities
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering or relevant field.
2-4 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction projects.
Strong understanding of drawings, BOQs, billing, and measurements.
Skills Required
Proficiency in MS Excel and billing/estimation.
Good knowledge of construction practices and materials.
Strong analytical and coordination skills.
Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
