Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Quantity Surveyor (with ERP knowledge) to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing and controlling project costs, ensuring optimal use of financial resources throughout each project's lifecycle. This position requires a solid understanding of construction processes, cost estimation, and budget management.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for materials, labour, and overheads.

Monitor project budgets and expenditures to ensure alignment with financial plans.

Conduct regular cost analysis and prepare variance reports with recommendations.

Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.

Assess and manage financial risks and propose corrective actions when needed.

Prepare tender documents and support procurement of subcontractors and suppliers.

Maintain thorough documentation of all project-related financial transactions.

Provide guidance on contractual matters and assist in dispute resolution when required.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree/ diploma in Civil Engineering/ Quantity Surveying or a related discipline. Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry. Strong knowledge of cost control techniques and financial management principles. Proficiency in ERP systems and other quantity surveying software/tools. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
