JOB OVERVIEW :

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our HVAC contracting team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to start their career in the construction industry and gain hands-on experience in quantity surveying within mechanical (HVAC) systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

Help track project costs and monitor budget compliance.
Assist in evaluating and comparing supplier and subcontractor quotations.
Coordinate with project engineers, site teams, and procurement for material quantity confirmations.
Assist in preparing interim payment applications and final accounts under supervision.
Maintain proper documentation and records of measurements and variations.
Learn and apply relevant standards and methods for HVAC cost control and estimation.
REQUIREMENTS :

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Strong interest in the HVAC industry and willingness to learn.
Basic understanding of construction drawings and estimation principles.
Familiar with MS Excel; knowledge of AutoCAD or any QS software is a plus.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and calculations.
PREFERRED QUALITIES :

Internship or academic project experience in MEP/HVAC projects is an advantage.
Eagerness to grow professionally and work in a fast-paced contracting environment.
