Key Responsibilities:
Quantity Measurement and Cost Reporting:
Take off quantities from project drawings and specifications to estimate the required quantities of materials.
Prepare detailed bills of quantities, including labor, materials, and equipment.
Maintain accurate records of all cost-related documents, such as invoices, payment certificates, and variations.
Generate regular cost reports, including cost-to-complete, cost variance analysis, and cash flow projections.
Cost Estimation and Tendering:
Prepare accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for government projects.
Analyze project drawings, specifications, and other relevant documentation to determine the scope of work and required resources.
Identify and quantify project costs, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor expenses.
Prepare and submit tender documents to government agencies, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably with exposure to government projects.
In-depth knowledge of construction contracts, cost estimation methods, and quantity surveying techniques.
