Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities (BOQs) Analyze drawings, specifications, and project requirements Monitor project costs and control expenses throughout the project lifecycle Prepare tender documents and evaluate contractor bids Manage contracts, variations, and claims Measure and value work completed on site Prepare interim and final payment certificates Coordinate with engineers, architects, contractors, and clients Ensure compliance with contractual and legal standards Prepare cost reports and forecasts for management Skills & Competencies Strong numerical and analytical skills Good understanding of construction drawings and specifications Proficiency in MS Excel and quantity surveying software (e.g., AutoCAD, CostX, PlanSwift) Attention to detail and accuracy Good communication and negotiation skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Time management and problem-solving skills
