Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review detailed quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimates from approved drawings and specifications.
Handle client billing (RA & Final Bills) in line with contract terms and project milestones.
Review and certify sub-contractor bills, measurements, and payment recommendations.
Maintain measurement books (MB) and ensure accurate site measurements.
Monitor project budgets, cost variations, and cash flow.
Prepare rate analysis for extra items, deviations, and variations.
Manage claims, variations, and change orders with proper technical justification.
Coordinate with design, planning, site, and accounts teams for cost control and reporting.
Support tendering activities, contract negotiations, and documentation.
Ensure compliance with MoRTH, IRC, IS codes, and contract conditions for road/highway projects.
Assist senior management with commercial reports and cost forecasts.
Qualification & Experience:
B.E. + M.E.
in
Structural Engineering / Highway Engineering
(Mandatory).
Minimum
8 years of experience
as a Quantity Surveyor in
road/highway or infrastructure projects
