The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost estimation, budgeting, and bills of quantities (BOQ) throughout the project lifecycle. This role requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of construction practices, and the ability to collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare
cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities (BOQ)
for commercial projects.
Conduct
feasibility studies
and provide cost advice during project planning.
Manage
tendering processes
, including preparation of tender documents and evaluation of contractor bids.
Assist in negotiating contracts and agreements with vendors, suppliers, and contractors.
Perform
site visits
to assess work progress and verify claims.
Prepare
valuation reports, interim payment certificates, and final accounts
.
Identify and manage
risks related to cost and contracts
.
Ensure compliance with
local regulations, company policies, and industry standards
.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's or Diploma Degree in
Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management
.
Minimum
1-2 years of experience
in real estate or construction projects.
Strong knowledge of
construction materials, methods, and local market rates
.
Proficiency in
MS Excel, AutoCAD, and cost estimation software
.
Excellent
numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills
.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
