Key Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and finalize

Bills of Quantities (BOQ)

, cost estimates, and material take-offs for commercial interior projects. Conduct

tendering processes

, including floating enquiries, analyzing quotations, negotiating with vendors/subcontractors, and finalizing contracts. Monitor project budgets, prepare

cash flow forecasts

, and ensure cost control against allocated budgets. Conduct

site measurements

and validate contractor bills, progress claims, and payment certificates. Evaluate

variations, change orders, and claims

, ensuring they are documented, justified, and approved. Maintain

cost reports, MIS, and project financial records

for management review. Liaise with project managers, designers, procurement, and contractors to ensure cost efficiency and timely delivery. Provide

value engineering solutions

to optimize project costs without compromising on quality or design intent. Ensure compliance with contractual terms, statutory regulations, and company policies.

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of

commercial interiors, fit-outs, finishes, and MEP works

. Proficiency in

MS Excel, AutoCAD, and QS software/tools

. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and numerical skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communicator with good written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree/Diploma in

Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management

. 4-6 years of relevant experience in

commercial interior/fit-out projects
